Our Story

The OneIntention Group was established in 2012 with a vision of transformative healing, merging the realms of psychotherapy and business leadership. This distinctive fusion underscores our commitment to a therapeutic approach that prioritises personal development and practical applicability. Our belief is that healing, change, and growth are integral to a truly transformative life.

Throughout our journey, we have evolved into a reputable name in psychotherapy, renowned for our compassionate, client-centric ethos. Operating from two locations on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, we cater to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, groups, organisations, as well as those with neurodiversity and ADHD via our National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) practice. We are also a registered Workcover provider. Our narrative is shaped by our unwavering dedication to guiding our clients along their individual paths to healing and personal growth.

We have two locations, our clinical practice located in Landsborough and at our equine practice nestled in the serene Maleny on Queensland's Sunshine Coast where we offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) facilitated by a dedicated herd of therapy horses. Moreover we collaborate with some of Australia's leading corporate advisory and mental health initiatives.

Heidi Refiti

Managing Director / Clinical Psychotherapist

Heidi Refiti is an experienced Clinical Psychotherapist and Professional Supervisor with over fourteen years of experience in private practice, holding a Masters degree in Psychotherapy with a focus on Gestalt Therapy.

As a registered Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) Register No. 25429, she continually refines her skills in a variety of therapeutic approaches. Heidi has a very unique skill set she offers to her clients, her expertise extends to Gestalt Therapy, Family Systems, Gottman Couples Therapy, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, and Circle of Security Facilitation, making her adept in addressing diverse emotional, psychological challenges and mental health disorders. Heidi is also a professional supervisor for other mental health professionals.

Heidi's earlier career in business leadership within the information technology sector has given her a deep understanding of the unique stressors faced by corporate professionals. This experience is instrumental in her approach, where she effectively combines her knowledge of corporate dynamics with psychotherapeutic techniques.

Heidi's love for horses has also lead her into Equine Assisted Psychotherapy with a particular interest in herd dynamics and working with people with complex trauma & PTSD. Heidi has a herd of three horses of her own which are her co-facilitators in her equine sessions.

Heidi's approach is holistic and client-centered, focusing on empowering individuals, couples, and groups to actively participate in their healing and growth. She is dedicated to guiding her clients through their journey of self-discovery, helping them build resilience and achieve a greater sense of freedom and well-being.

Lani Refiti

Director / Psychotherapist

Lani Refiti is a dynamic figure blending a notable career in business technology and psychotherapy. He has held senior executive leadership roles in global organisations like Cisco Systems, PwC and is a retired Deloitte Partner. He is a Founding Partner in Azcende, a venture capital and advisory firm specialising in emerging technology in national security.

Lani contributes his expertise as a board chair & non-executive director for various organisations both in the corporate and not for profit sectors. He is a public/keynote speaker for ICMI and Platinum Speakers speaking on a wide range of issues such as aritificial intelligence (AI) digital transformation, cybersecurity and human-centered innovation.

His psychotherapy journey began with a Master's degree in Psychotherapy, graduating in 2016, specialising in organisational leadership & development. Since then he's trained in Family Systems facilitation along with addiction therapies and strategies. Lani is a certified practicing member of Psychotherapy and Counsellors Federation of Australia (PACFA) Register No. 30571.

Lani's unique perspective is invaluable in individual and group therapy, particularly for those intersecting personal development with professional challenges. His approach integrates therapeutic insights with practical business strategy, offering a distinctive support system for clients.
